Insufficient language analysis – debate in the Parliament

There will be questions and answers in the Swedish Parliament on insufficient language analysis.

Member of Parliament Christina Höj Larsen (Leftist Party) has put forward three questions to be answered by Minister of Justice, Morgan Johansson (Social Democrats).

Christina Höj Larsen’s line is that the company conducting language analysis for the Swedish Migration Agency does not meet sufficient standards. In order to maintain the legal rights of asylum claimants, Christina Höj Larsen means that proper methods should be used.

The questions are:

  • 1.When will the reports on language analysis ordered by the Department of Justice be ready?
  • 2.In what way will the Minister of Justice make sure quality standards will be met?
  • 3.What kind of measures will be taken regarding asylum claimants faced with a refusal of an application for residence permit, on doubtful grounds?

The Parliament debate is set for 7th April 2015. Verified will provide you with a short summary afterwards.
