MIGRIs new provider for Linguistic Origin Identification

On 27th of September 2018, Verified received notification that its tender to carry out language analysis for the Finnish Immigration Service (Maahanmuuttovirasto) has been approved.

Following a public procurement, Verified has been awarded a contract as sole provider of language analysis to the Finnish Immigration Service (Maahanmuuttovirasto). Verified already holds contracts with the United Kingdom’s Home Office, Sweden’s Migrationsverket, Norway’s Politiets Utledningsenhet, Denmark’s Udlændingestyrelsen and Ireland’s Office of the Refugee Applications Commissioner (ORAC), as well as cooperating informally with a handful of other authorities. This latest successful bid is part of a continued effort to lead the development in language analysis by increasing quality, as well as transparency.

The contract was won due to Verified’s ability to meet the technical requirements, quality assurance and demands for transparency of the Finnish Immigration Service. Verified is looking forward to a productive business relationship and hopes it will be mutually advantageous.
