Verified Wins Irish Tender

On 12 September Verified received notification that its tender to carry out language analysis for the Republic of Ireland’s Office of the Refugee Applications Commissioner (ORAC) had been approved over that of the incumbent provider, Sprakab.

In addition to its newly-won contract with ORAC, Verified holds contracts with the United Kingdom’s Home Office, Sweden’s Migrationsverket, Norway’s Politiets Utledningsenhet, Denmark’s Udlændingestyrelsen and Iceland’s Directorate of Immigration. Verified’s activities therefore now encompass the entirety of Scandinavia and the British Isles, with further expansion planned into mainland Europe and beyond. This latest successful bid marks the expansion of Verified’s share of the language analysis market. Verified´s number of yearly analyses, 6000, will likely rise.

Verified’s tender won approval in Ireland partly owing to the company’s ability to provide more comprehensive quality assurance than its competitor. Verified looks forward to a sustained and productive relationship with ORAC, whose decision represents a victory for the principles and practice of high-quality language analysis.
