Microsoft Partner: Ergonomidesign is selected as a Microsoft Surface Partner
Ergonomidesign has developed two applications, which are public, for Microsoft Surface: the music quiz and music store application Sonicspree, which was recently awarded with the Microsoft .NET Award 2009 in the category “The surprise of the year” and the application Helping Hands, a prototype demonstrating “The Future of Integrated Health Care”.
We are proud to say that our Surface design knowledge and experience have resulted in Ergonomidesign becoming an official Microsoft Surface Partner. The Interaction Design team and the Design Strategy team at Ergonomidesign has a large interest and passion for this new technology and are exploring its usage together with leading companies within health care and retail. Look out for new ground breaking applications from the team.
“If you are looking for an agency that can help you take an idea all the way to a Surface table I would be more than happy to recommend you to Ergonomidesign! When creating a true Surface experience the journey starts long before creating the code, long before coming to the table. A great Surface application will engage you, let you expand your boundaries at your own speed and challenge you for more. Ergonomidesign lives and breathes these skills. Bridging the analog world with the digital, creating social engagements, embedding and designing experiences that last and feels fresh today and tomorrow – this is what they stand for. The creativity, knowledge and engagement I have seen them put into their Surface projects and every project they engage in spells quality, quality you will be able to touch!” says Anders Wedahl, ISV Developer Evangelist, Microsoft Sweden.
Microsoft Surface, the first commercially available surface computer from Microsoft Corp., turns an ordinary tabletop into an intelligent, interactive surface that responds to hand gestures and real-world objects, helping people to interact with digital content in a simple and intuitive way. Microsoft Surface is a table-like form factor that’s easy for individuals or small groups to interact with in a way that feels familiar, just like in the real world. The Surface table completely changes the way users interact and experts at Ergonomidesign strongly believe that the multi-touch and multi-user technology used in Surface, will change the way we use computers in the future.
