Sonicspree for iPad | The Kickstarter project launched
Now we want to develop a Sonicspree app for iPad. On an iPad the game can be played at home, in the car, at the airport or on holiday. Releasing the game for iPad would make it available to millions of music lovers and gamers. To kick it off we have launched a project on Kickstarter.
Ergonomidesign’s and Connecta’s Sonicspree application was originally developed for Microsoft Surface and is played on the Samsung SUR40 table.
It integrates traditional quiz games, real dice, the Spotify music service with over 10 million songs and hand movements into a multi-touch, multi-user, multi-musical experience. It was developed with a retail, conference or showcase environment in mind; shop floors, lounge areas or merchandise display areas are the perfect settings for a music application like Sonicspree on Microsoft Surface.
When played on the iPad, Sonicspree will access your iTunes music library. You can invite up to three other players, or play alone to test your knowledge of music, short term memory and alertness.
Essentially, Sonicspree is a blend of music quizzes, memory and speed. When the music starts the participants have to move the album art cards into the center of the pad to reveal them. Then match the art to the right song for points by pulling the card to their own nest. But all the cards are moving, and everyone can have a go at the same time. Speed is everything!
