Metronomy - efterlängtat återbesök till Stockholm!
Ständigt aktuella Metronomy gillar Sverige och kommer tillbaka 4 mars för att spela på Debaser Slussen. För alla er som inte är i Stockholm och kan uppleva killarna live så finns det en chans att se dem framföra tre låtar på "Popcirkus" som direktsänds på STV2, Onsdag 4 mars 19.30 - 21.00.
Ungefär samtidigt som Emmabodafestivalen går ut med att de småländska skogarna får besök av Metronomy i sommar, så tackar Gabriel Stebbing för denna tid.
Gabriel Stebbing har bestämt sig för att lämna Metronomy, för att jobba med sitt eget projekt "Your Twenties". Metronomys frontman Joseph Mount tar det hela med ro:
"Gabriel Stebbing has today requested his P45, it is his desire to leave Metronomy, perhaps an unwise move in these unpredictable economic times.
I have been in bands with Gabriel since i was 14, so it's very sad to be seeing him go. However, it is all for a good cause as he wishes to concentrate on his once side, but now full time project/band 'Your Twenties'. We'd talked about this happening before, so it's no surprise to me that he wants to leave and give his own 'baby' more of his time. There is certainly no bad blood between us, I am in fact producing Your Twenties and will even be seeing Gabriel tonight for drinks.
Gabriel will continue to play with us until sometime in April.
Fear not, Metronomy will not be going anywhere for some time and Gabriel, thanks for the memories".
Metronomy kommer till Emmaboda med två nytillskott, en ny basist för att ersätta Gabriel. Även en trummis kommer att adderas till line-upen, som enligt bandet själva kommer att ta liveframträdandena till en helt ny dimension.
