WBS Media Group acquires Rocket Revenue and expands internationally
WBS Media Group (“WBS”) acquires Rocket Revenue – one of Sweden’s leading Facebook agencies - expanding into new business areas. During the last three years, WBS has become the leading performance-marketing agency in the Swedish beverage industry, with a more than ten-fold increase in revenue. With the acquisition of Rocket Revenue, the joint company forecasts 2019 revenues of SEK 90 million with a joint team of 20 employees. The goal is now to continue to develop WBS’ successful concept, generating continued growth with its existing customers, as well as in new industries and internationally.
Rocket Revenue has in a short time developed into one of Sweden's leading Facebook agencies. The key to success has been its industry focus, profitable customer relationships, data-driven workflows/services and real-time optimization of all digital channels towards joint KPI:s defined together with its customers.
Tobias Nissen, CEO of WBS Media Group comments on the deal: “Our focus is very much on truly understanding what drives our customers' business and then developing clear strategies where we direct all advertising in Facebook's various channels towards real business goals. As a company, we often work best with customers who already execute well on their own, but where they may have reached a level where scaling their business and combining growth with profitability is becoming challenging. With the addition of Rocket Revenue, we sharpen our offering to existing customers here in Sweden, whilst also adding expertise and a platform for international growth in new markets.”
The acquisition of Rocket Revenue brings WBS a whole new business area targeting the e-commerce segment. With over 100 customers in this booming industry, Rocket Revenue has a leading position in Sweden and now sees great potential in exporting its know-how and successful methods to the international stage.
Tobias Rangbo, CEO of Rocket Revenue comments: “Rocket Revenue has always focused on creating profitable growth for our customers. An important focus area for many e-commerce companies in the future will be to tie together strategies and methods for scaling their business internationally and also to combine and optimize influencer marketing on Instagram with paid advertising in Facebook's various channels. With the strength of WBS Media Group, we now see great opportunities to accelerate our own operations and to develop even more sophisticated offerings. As a team we have invested hundreds of millions on the Facebook platforms on behalf of our customers. That’s a lot of hard-earned experience. We have the tools, the data models and the know-how needed to really tackle even bigger challenges and growth opportunities ahead”.
Rocket Revenue founder Tobias Rangbo will continue as the CEO of Rocket Revenue and also joins WBS Media Group as a co-owner and board member.
