The UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities articulates the right to work - work that is inclusive of the mainstream la bor market, based on equal terms, and free from segregated arrangements. The convention's international monitoring committee has urged all states to ensure that private and public employers receive support for accommodations that facilitate the inclusion of persons with disabilities.
The Includia Foundation, in collaboration with the Independent Living Institute, has invited three researchers to share their perspectives on the issue.
