Meet Søren Overgaard: Sertion takes the next step in Denmark, appointing its first Country CEO

Stockholm, 2026-09-09 – Today Sertion announces that Søren Overgaard will step into the role as CEO of Sertion Denmark in September 2026. The appointment marks a clear next step for Sertion, which is now building a country organization of its own in Denmark, with Søren serving as the group's extended arm in the country.

The companies within the group already perform well individually. What Søren will elevate is the synergies and collaboration between them: closer coordination, faster initiatives, and a clearer path to growth for the group's Danish operations together.

"That's exactly what attracted me to Sertion," says Søren Overgaard. "The individual companies are strong, with a great customer and quality focus. With the new structure, we intend to grow and improve market coverage, to the benefit of our customers. We will grow stronger together, while maintaining the strength and values of our individual companies."

A career built on making things work

Søren brings more than 25 years of experience in senior industrial roles, including five CEO and Managing Director appointments, among them at Bühler AG in Switzerland, Cimbria, AGCO, Skiold Group, and most recently DSI Dantech.

"I look forward to joining Sertion and bringing my experience to the table, specifically when it comes to creating customer value, acquiring and integrating new businesses, and preserving what made them successful in the first place.," says Søren.

The role: overview, coordination, and growth

As CEO of Sertion Denmark, Søren is responsible for driving the business at country level: market development, budget, results, and organic growth, with the mandate to shape how the group operates in Denmark.

He will also play a central role in Sertion's continued acquisition journey, identifying companies, building relationships early, and helping new additions integrate faster once they become part of the group.

Asked about his ambitions for the Danish market, Søren is clear. "Denmark has a strong industrial tradition and plenty of companies with the right fundamentals. I see good opportunities to grow here, both organically and through acquisitions, and my ambition is to make Sertion an even more prominent player in the Danish market in the years ahead."
