TRIPADVISOR AND ACCOR ANNOUNCE PARTNERSHIP TO ADD ACCOR HOTEL INVENTORY TO INSTANT BOOKING PLATFORM
Accor, the leading hotel operator, with 470,000 rooms in 3,700 hotels across 14 trusted brands in 92 countries, today announced that it will participate shortly in TripAdvisor instant booking, making it easier than ever for TripAdvisor users to reserve rooms at Accor properties.
The TripAdvisor instant booking feature allows travelers to book a room through TripAdvisor booking partners like Accor without leaving the TripAdvisor site experience. The feature is currently available to U.S.-based travelers.
“Our instant booking partnership with TripAdvisor offers a new seamless channel for travelers to find and book rooms at Accor properties around the world that will enhance the customer experience especially on mobile devices. It will definitely feed our ambition to lead in digital hospitality,” said Romain Roulleau, senior vice president, e-Commerce at Accor.
TripAdvisor reminds users that they are booking with the partner and provides users with links and numbers to contact the hotel’s customer service directly. As before, all customer support inquiries will be handled by Accor.
