Atos all set to power new levels of performance for 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games

With the 20th Commonwealth Games in Glasgow just 6 hours away, Atos is ready and rearing to deliver one of the most advanced games management and information technology systems for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.

A proud Official Supporter of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, Atos will leverage on its experience from over two decades of Olympic and Paralympic Games, including Beijing 2010, Sochi 2014 and other major events worldwide to ensure the successful staging of this Games.

Atos’ technology will enhance the experience of:

Athletes and accredited Games participants: Atos provides the accreditation systems that has accredited up to 70,000 Games participants including athletes, officials, workforce, volunteers, media and sponsors.

Volunteers: Atos provides the volunteer systems to facilitate the recruitment and management of the 15,000 volunteers via a Volunteer Portal.

Media and sports officials: Atos provides the Games Information System that will instantly relay results, athlete information, competition schedules, medal tables and sports records to accredited media, sports officials and the Glasgow 2014 website.

The Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games will provide a preview of things to come at the 2014 Nanjing YOG, which is 24 days' away.
