Atos begins 30 days countdown to the Nanjing 2014 Youth Olympic Games

Beijing, 17 July, 2014 – With merely a month to the opening ceremony of the Nanjing 2014 Youth Olympic Games, Atos, the Chief Systems Integrator and international IT services company, announces today that the implementation of the Games IT systems is right on track.

The Youth Olympics Games (YOG) is the most complex IT project for a sporting event ever undertaken in Nanjing to date. With global audiences watching the Games on multiple devices, anywhere and anytime, Atos business technologists are laser-focused on delivering the massive, mission critical IT infrastructure and solutions that will deliver real-time results to a global audience of billions and empower one of the most anticipated sports events in China this summer.

The highest-level of international sports event hosted by China since Beijing 2008 includes:

·  6000 athletes and officials from the 204 National Olympic Committees (NOCs)

·  20,000 volunteers

·  120,000 accreditations
