Green Drumming Workshop with Commonwealth Secondary School!

Kicking off what Green Drumming hopes to instill in the youth about repurposing recycled items as percussive instruments, a group of talented students from Commonwealth Secondary School learnt an ensemble using wooden sticks and green drums to the tune of the recently released song by Arthur Choo, “Together Now”!

The main trainer, Ereen Tan led the class with the students, teaching them the rhythms and patterns and introduced to them what recycled percussion was all about. In later sessions, the students were brought to the Green Drumming warehouse to play with the green drums as well as for a seperate music video shoot.

Their last session was held in the newly open “The Green Space” located at *SCAPE, where Arthur held an emceeing workshop for the students and taught them how to host and speak in an engaging tone.

Throughout the sessions, Commonwealth Secondary has been such a joy to mentor, and Green Drumming hopes that they had as much fun as we did with them!
