What is Lockout & Tagout?
Many industries have to deal with hazardous energy sources, and serious accidents happen when these are released accidentally or unexpectedly. To protect the people / machinery from such accidental release of hazardous energy is Lockout/Tagout. Lockout is the process of locking away hazardous energy, while tagout involves placing danger signs & information on control points of hazardous energy.
