MUSIC MATTERS LIVE 2019 ANNOUNCES WHEN AND WHERE THIS SEPTEMBER

Music Matters Live, is back for it’s 14th year, September 13th - 18th.

● Clarke Quay returns as Official Venue Sponsor, 3 nights of main stage performances on Fountain Stage

● Participating Clarke Quay venues include Crazy Elephant, The Crossroads, Le Noir, McGettigan’s, The Riverhouse, Warehouse and Zouk.

● The Made In Singapore Showcase makes its mainstage debut on Day 2 with MML alumni, emerging new artists and some of the best musicians from Singapore, in a special collaborative event, presented by Zendyll and Hugo

● 50 top emerging artists representing 15 countries, performing more than 100 free shows across 6 nights

Music Matters Live 2019 will once again showcase some of the brightest and most promising bands and artists from Asia and beyond, returning for its 14th year (and 9th in Singapore). 

The festival will run across 6 nights from September 13th - 18th, alongside the All That Matters entertainment industry conference. With the heart of Music Matters Live returning to Clarke Quay, the Official Venue Partner will host the Mainstage at Fountain Square for 3 nights of live music from September 13th - 15th.

The festival will be spread amongst several participating venues, including Crazy Elephant, Le Noir, McGettigan’s, Warehouse and Zouk . This year also sees the festival expand into new upcoming venues: The Crossroads and The Riverhouse. Entry at all venues will be free for the public to attend (venue rules apply).

50 artists from 15 countries will perform more than 100 shows, in more than 10 venues for Singapore audiences and in front of All That Matters delegates from the global entertainment industry.


ABOUT THE LINEUP:

Amongst the acts that make up this year's exciting international lineup, first to be announced are J-Idol ensemble, DEAR KISS , from Japan. They are no strangers to Singapore and the region with their loyal and expanding fanbase from appearances at C3AFA (Singapore & Hong Kong), and recent showcases across Hong Kong, Malaysia and Sydney. 

This year also sees the exciting addition of emerging female lead acts “ I Wear* Experiment ” from Estonia, “ Totemo ” from Israel. More acts include urban hip-hop artist “ Billy Davis and the Good Lords ” from Australia and indie rock band “ Amazing Show ” from Taiwan. Look out for updates of the full line-up coming soon.

MADE IN SINGAPORE SHOWCASE PRESENTED BY ZENDYLL AND HUGO:

The Made In Singapore , showcase returns bigger and grander than before, boasting an exciting new partnership with Zendyll and Hugo. This will be a first, having a Singapore independent music company supporting the showcase together with fashion icon Hugo. The Made In Singapore Showcase will make its Mainstage debut on Day 2 of the festival on Saturday September 14th, featuring MML Alumni, emerging new artists and some of the best musicians from Singapore, in a special collaborative event, presented by Zendyll and Hugo.
