Epson showcases SurePress Digital Label Press for the first time at LabelExpo Southeast Asia 2018

Epson Thailand will be showcasing the SurePress digital label press for the first time in the region at LabelExpo Southeast Asia, as well as its industrial color label printers and handheld label printers. The event will be held at Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) from 10 to 12 May 2018, at Booth D1.

At the showcase, Epson will demonstrate new solutions for digital printing of labels that will help businesses achieve cost efficiency while maintaining quality.

SurePress L-4533AW Digital Label Press

The SurePress L-4533AW Digital Label Press prints high-quality labels and packaging, delivering accurate colour reproduction on a wide variety of substrates, including clear film and metallic substrates. With a water-based pigment seven-colour ink set providing a wide colour gamut, it delivers precise and accurate colour matching, even for speciality colours.

It delivers exceptional quality in label printing with Epson’s Micro Piezo multi-printhead and variable-sized droplet technology for precise printing. A unique dual stage drying process ensures optimum ink adhesion to label substrates. The resin-coated pigment ink provides superior adhesion and a glossy surface, ensuring water, light and abrasion resistance on most substrates.

Designed to improve productivity and increase efficiency, the L-4533AW label press features auto head maintenance for fast and efficient digital workflow enabling users to handle a higher number of short-run jobs, improving turnaround time for print jobs.

The digital label press offers advanced automated printing features, including up to eight hours of unattended printing, email alerts and minimal manual cleaning.

Offering reliability with all components built by Epson, including the ink, print head and controller, the L-4533AW features versatile substrate support and prints on off-the-shelf materials from 3.15-inches up to 13-inch wide and as thin as 0.00314-inches.

ColorWorks^TM C7510G Color Label Printer

The event will also showcase the ColorWorks^TM C7510G, Epson’s first industrial colour label printer driven by PrecisionCore^TM technology, and is suitable for industrial, chemical, packaging, warehousing and other labelling applications. This on-demand colour label printer enables high-speed printing of superior quality colour labels at 1200 x 600dpi resolution and at fast speeds of 300mm/sec, the fastest printing speed in its class. With its high capacity ink cartridges, it enables continuous printing with reduced production downtime.

LabelWorks LW-Z900FK Industrial Label Solution

Epson will also be showcasing its award-winning next-generation industrial labelling solution, for printing of labels for industrial use. An industry first, the LW-Z900FK offers brilliant print speed of up to 35mm/sec at superb resolution which adapts well to a high-volume environment or continuous printing environment.

Winner of the iF Design Awards 2016, the label printer fits the most demanding environment, and is designed with functionality and ease of use in mind. Innovative features include the pull-and-print, drop-stop and mix-length printing features as well as the auto tape rewind function.
