Jurong Town Corporation: JTC COMMENCES DEVELOPMENT FOR FUSIONOPOLIS PHASE 2A @ one-north

JTC Corporation (JTC) has started the development of Fusionopolis Phase 2A @ one-north, which will house several research institutes as well as private companies within a complex.  A tender to procure the services for the construction, completion of all the works, including all temporary works, foundation, structural works, architectural, façade & landscaping works, mechanical and electrical services for both towers, Towers A and B, in Fusionopolis Phase 2A has been called by JTC.

2 Located at the junction of Fusionopolis Way and Ayer Rajah Avenue, Towers A and B will comprise 18 storeys and 11 storeys respectively. Fusionopolis Phase 2A will include a multi-storey business park, wet/dry laboratories and office areas built on a 1.04ha site with an approximate gross floor area of 84,000 sqm. This is aligned with the objective of developing Fusionopolis Phase 2A into a research node that will nurture a vibrant research community and promote information dissemination and technology transfer.

3 Fusionopolis is the cluster in one-north that supports the development of infocomm technology, physical sciences and engineering. Following the commencement of the development for Fusionopolis Phase 2A, JTC is planning to launch the site for Fusionopolis Phase 3 by end Feb 2011. Fusionopolis Phase 1 was officially opened on 17 Oct 2008.
