WingTai Asia: WING TAI RETAIL EFFORTS TOWARDS JAPAN’S EARTHQUAKE AND TSUNAMI RELIEF WORK

Wing Tai Retail Pte Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Wing Tai Holdings Limited, is providing assistance to enable its staff and customers to contribute towards global relief efforts in Japan to support earthquake and tsunami victims and their families.

Contribution boxes in office and in stores

Wing Tai Retail is setting up contribution boxes in all its stores and offices, to receive monetary donations from its staff and members of the public.  Wing Tai has an extensive distribution network of 178 retail stores in Singapore and Malaysia. This collection drive is set up in collaboration with the Singapore and Malaysia Red Cross societies. It starts tomorrow on 19 March 2011 (Saturday) and ends on 10 April 2011 (Sunday) in Singapore; in Malaysia, it will start mid of the week of 21 March 2011. All donations collected in Singapore during this period will be channeled to the Singapore Red Cross Society on 11 April 2011 (Monday) in support of its Japan Disaster 2011 Fund. Wing Tai’s extensive portfolio of popular retail brands include: G2000, Topshop, Topman, Dorothy Perkins, Miss Selfridge, Warehouse, Karen Millen, Maxstudio.com, Fox Fashion, Pumpkin Patch, Ben Sherman, Adidas, Diva, Cova, Yoshinoya and Uniqlo.
