Carl Robinson Edition 3 is a collection of Specialty wallcoverings that
are created to honor the past, reflect the tradition and unveil the
artistic processes used in designing Wallcoverings.
Working in collaboration with highly skilled and respected artisans, the Carl Robinson collection endeavored to preserve the beauty and continue the lineage of handcrafted papers. The hand- painted papers are a true work of art. Each design is artistically rendered, individually hand screened and hand finished to create a durable, beautiful high-end product for the wall.
Grass cloths and silks are screen-printed using advanced print technology to create a look based in tradition yet relevant to today’s interiors. The inspired embroideries are meticulously created and applied on the finest non-woven paper in a stunning neutral palette. Sophisticated shapes, metallic threads and the attention to detail make these pieces truly unique and special.
Specialty corks, silks, textiles and Mylar substrates are chosen to enhance the diversity of the collection. Traditional damask shapes and modern medallions are screen printed onto the grounds to create new classic patterns on unexpected substrates. This collection represents the best in wall coverings, the skill and the detail of the artisan’s vision.
