Clean Energy Solution for EFB Power Plant
Jebsen & Jessen Technology Malaysia was awarded the contract to supply and install a 12.5 MW multi-stage steam turbine generator system for an empty fruit bunch (EFB) power plant in Perak, Malaysia. Backed with strong references in the region, this is yet another project for JJTM under the Malaysia Renewable Energy Programme.
“JJTM’s team has designed a cost-effective system by deploying the appropriate solutions to maximise power output with the available heat, fitting the financial model of the investor. In addition, the use of a closed system for the power plant allows the steam generated to be recycled back into the system – minimising the usage of water, one of the world’s most sought-after resources,” shares Mr Steve Ng, general manager Jebsen & Jessen Technology Energy Division.
“Jebsen & Jessen Technology’s Energy Division is moving forward from being a supplier of steam turbines to being a reliable energy solutions provider to our customers along the green energy pathway. Congratulations to the team for their determination and effort, keep it up!” says Mr C L Chong, managing director Jebsen & Jessen Technology Malaysia.
