Jebsen & Jessen Packaging Broadens its Product Portfolio

On Jan 1, 2011, Jebsen & Jessen Packaging acquired Malaysia-based Labplas Sdn Bhd (Labplas) and thereby moves from serving purely the Electronics & Electrical (E&E) industry into including Food & Beverage (F&B).

Labplas specialises in producing plastic PET bottles and jars, caps and closures and tailor made design and labelling services. The company has a strong presence among Malaysia's Multi National Corporations and local Food & Beverage companies. Labplas also has an export business throughout ASEAN and beyond. 

Labplas’ office and production facility are located in Sungei Buloh. Their 77,000 square feet factory produces 3-4 millions bottles and jars per month.

The company currently comprises over 100 employees. General Manager, Mr Lim Eng Tak, who has been with Labplas for eight years, will continue to head the company under Jebsen & Jessen Packaging’s umbrella.
