Kimberly-Clark Asia Pacific Receives AmCham CARES Award for Outstanding Corporate Citizenship

The American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (AmCham) recently honored Kimberly-Clark Asia Pacific and other companies in Singapore for their outstanding corporate citizenship. 42 large and small companies across multiple business sectors and industries were recognized at a ceremony officiated by Minister for Social and Family Development Tan Chuan-Jin and U.S. Embassy Singapore Charge d'Affaires Stephanie Syptak-Ramnath.

The AmCham Cares award recognizes member organizations who demonstrate an excellent understanding of corporate citizenship relevance, by linking business operations and society in a way that will create long term economic and social value in the long run.

With its regional headquarters in Singapore, Kimberly-Clark is committed to programs across APAC, including its partnership with World Toilet Organization’s The Urgent Run in Singapore to raise awareness of the global sanitation issue, Toilets Change Lives for providing sanitation in India, Touch of White Angels for improved healthcare in China, Love your Forests in partnership with WWF Australia to protect endangered forests, and Keep Korea Green that has planted over 50 million trees.
