Upcoming changes to the Employment Act

On 10 January, TSMP Law Corporation hosted a lunch seminar about the upcoming changes to the Employment Act in Singapore. Ian Lim, who heads TSMP’s Employment and Labour team, gave as an excellent summary of the amendments to the 50-year-old Employment Act. These changes are a huge shift for Singapore which gives more rights back to workers/employees than previously. Detailed information about the specific changes can be found in the attached slides.
