NBAS welcomes Herman Steen to the discussions during SNIC.

During the SNIC panel discussions, Steen will particularly focus on the development of autonomous ships, and the challenges and opportunities which this novel technology provides. Steen is a leading legal expert on autonomous ships and a sought-after speaker on the subject. He is a partner in Wikborg Rein's Shipping & Offshore group and Maritime and Offshore Emergency Response Team and specialises in international maritime law and marine insurance law.

In December 2019 Wikborg Rein became the first Gold sponsor of SNIC. Ina Lutchmiah, Specialist Counsel and leader for the transactional practice at Wikborg Rein's Singapore office, is delighted to be a part of SNIC. "We thank NBAS for the opportunity to participate in SNIC 2020. We have a long-standing commitment to Norwegian clients, business and interests in Singapore", says Lutchmiah.

The firm's roots in Singapore stem back to 1996, before a dedicated office was established there in 2000. The Wikborg Rein Singapore office specialises in shipping & offshore and provides general legal advice to Norwegian-related businesses in the APAC region.

Wikborg Rein has offices in Oslo, Bergen, London, Shanghai and Singapore as well as a presence in Brazil, and is top ranked in all legal directories such as Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners.
