OANDA - Oil Futures Commentary

Both Brent and WTI had quiet sessions overnight, with both consolidating around the middle of their trading ranges of the last few days. On a spot basis Brent sits around $54 a barrel with WTI anchored at $52 a barrel.

We are expecting more of the same today in Asia, as a light news week and the run in to the holiday season becalms most markets. Tomorrow night’s US Crude Inventory figures may provide some distraction, otherwise we expect crude price action to be headline driven this week.
