UL’s lighting seminar in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam brings new insights to the industry

VIETNAM, 8 December 2017 – As a global company with more than 120 years of expertise, UL helps companies navigate market complexity in a global economy and gain global marketing access through demonstrating safety, sustainability and excellence through conformity to regulatory standards and marketing claim verifications.

In the seminar “Introduction to UL Standards and How to Navigate into Global Markets”, more than 50 Vietnamese participants were introduced to UL standards, testing and certification capabilities as well as regulatory requirements for LED luminaires in major markets such as Asia, China, Europe and Saudi Arabia.

Through the seminar, participants gained new insights how they can leverage on UL’s safety science expertise and network of accredited global laboratories to gain accelerated access to the global marketplace and greater understanding of the regulatory requirements for LED luminaires.

The seminar was jointly organized with Branch of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in Ho Chi Minh City and was held at Park Hyatt in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam on 7 December 2017.
