Barista perfection meets ease of use - Siemens EQ900 iAroma and EQ900 plus iAroma fully automatic coffee machines now with new features
Munich, Germany – With the EQ900 iAroma and EQ900 plus iAroma, Siemens is introducing updated versions of its premium fully automatic coffee machines, combining proven baris-ta-level standards with new convenience features.
The new EQ900 iAroma offers everything coffee lovers appreciate—individual customi-sation options combined with advanced technology—and now offers even more. The EQ900 plus iAroma, which also features an automatic cleaning and descaling function, has likewise been upgraded. The range of drinks has been expanded to include XL op-tions, so both models now offer a wide selection of drink specialities in XL size. New extras such as the pre-warming function and the height-adjustable drip tray for large takeaway cups make coffee preparation even more convenient. The updated interface design adds a modern touch to the user experience.
Coffee enjoyment tailored to your preferences
It’s the dream of coffee aficionados: you walk into your favourite café, the barista takes one look, and immediately crafts the perfect coffee—precisely tuned to your taste in strength, milk ratio, and more. The EQ900 iAroma and EQ900 plus iAroma bring that experience into your own kitchen. In baristaMode, six parameters of the brewing pro-cess—drink size, strength, grinding level, brewing temperature, contact time, and milk ratio—can be individually adjusted. Once you’ve found your perfect combination, you can save it in your personal profile and enjoy it again and again with a single swipe. With the new pre-warming function, you can also warm your cup with a little hot water imme-diately before brewing, ensuring the coffee is served at the optimal temperature.
For anyone still honing their barista skills, or who prefers to reach perfect results quickly and intuitively, there’s comfortMode. Like a real barista, the intelligent coffee machine prepares the desired drink speciality with ideal settings.
Always the right bean
Espresso in the morning and a milk coffee in the afternoon? No problem. Many EQ900 iAroma models feature the dualBean System, allowing you to switch between two types of coffee beans at any time. The two bean containers have separate, adjustable elec-tronic grinders. These eGrinders give you full control over the grind for every drink you choose.
The innovative beanIdent System ensures your selected coffee beans reach their full potential. Thanks to intelligent technology, it optimally adjusts all brewing settings—such as brew temperature, grind, and coffee strength—to the beans in use and the chosen drink.
A diverse selection from around the world
The EQ900 iAroma and EQ900 plus iAroma prepare a wide variety of beverage speciali-ties, tailored to your taste. There are 31 drinks available directly on the machine, includ-ing classics as well as international specialities from the coffeeWorld. Newly added is a large selection of XL drinks, so many large beverages can now be prepared at the touch of a button. When operated via the app, users can choose from 41 drinks. Because XL drinks are especially suited to preparation in a large takeaway cup, the EQ900 iAroma and EQ900 plus iAroma now also feature a height-adjustable drip tray that offers ample space for large cups or thermal mugs.
Ease of use meets coffeetainment
The EQ900 iAroma is operated via touch-and-slide on the 6.8-inch iSelect display. Thanks to the improved user interface, it is now even more intuitive, modern, and clear-er. In addition, there is now a Coffeetainment area that displays useful and relevant con-tent about coffee and the functions of the coffee machine. Optimised glass protection ensures the control surface is even better protected against damage.
The new Siemens EQ900 iAroma and EQ900 plus iAroma variants are available from March 2026.
