This intelligent device combines cutting-edge technology with culinary versatility, offering a completely new way to prepare healthy and delicious meals.
With the introduction of the world’s first steam drawer, Siemens opens up new dimensions in steam cooking. The appliance can be combined with an oven or placed as a single unit – catering to your personal kitchen style and space needs.
Exploring the possibilities of steam
Hot steam locks in vitamins and minerals while preserving natural flavours and vibrant colours, making it a great way to prepare healthy, delicious meals. You can manually adjust the exact degree and time – just as you like to prepare your favourite dish. If you are unsure about the settings, you can use automatic programmes. The Siemens steam drawer is equipped with pre-installed steaming programmes that guarantee ideal preparation – no matter if you want to steam salmon or asparagus. Simply select your dish via toggling through the display or conveniently choose one of the additional programmes in the Siemens Home Appliances app. The steam drawer automatically applies the correct settings and its sensors control the process. When your dish is ready, the steam drawer switches off automatically, so you can relax while your food is steamed.
Besides steaming, the steam drawer can be used for other purposes as well: dough proofing is much faster in it than it is at room temperature and you can also use it to gently defrost frozen food or reheat leftovers perfectly, so they taste like freshly prepared. Additionally, you can use your steam drawer to disinfect baby bottles, preservering- or jam jars.
Smart dimensions for even more possibilities
If you want to unlock even more features, just connect the steam drawer to your registered Home Connect account. This gives you complete control over the device from anywhere – even by voice control via Amazon Alexa or Google Home. The Cooking Assistant in the app can suggest suitable settings or programmes and send them directly to your stream drawer. And if you need inspiration for steam dishes to match your healthy lifestyle, the recipe world is your place to be. There is a dish you absolutely love? Save the settings under “Favourites” in the app. This gives you quick access to them whenever you want to cook your favourite dish again.
Versatile placement, easy handling
The innovative format of the steam drawer allows a seamless placement below an oven, whether in a 60 cm or 45 cm height configuration. Prepare crispy roasts in the oven while you gently steam the vegetables in the steam drawer. You can also place the steam drawer under your countertop as a single unit. Our new space-saving steam drawer boasts an impressive 10-litre capacity – more than enough for large quantities, for example 2.5 kg of potatoes. The sleek LED touch control makes operating your Siemens steam drawer incredibly intuitive. All functions are clearly displayed, allowing you to easily set temperature, time, and other settings with a gentle touch or by toggling through the options.
