Munich, Germany – Perfect enjoyment for coffee connoisseurs – it’s easy with Siemens fully automatic coffee machines. Thanks to technological optimizations, the EQ700 models now offer three new coffee specialties.
With the Siemens EQ700 fully automatic coffee machine, modern technology meets extensive coffee variety. Thanks to individually adjustable settings, the EQ700 ensures a customized experience with every cup. With the new model variants, lovers of cold brew and slow brew can now also celebrate their perfect coffee moment.
Relaxed enjoyment: Cold Brew and Slow Brew
Cold Brew is becoming increasingly popular; especially on hot days, it’s a great choice for refreshing yourself without having to give up your usual coffee enjoyment. The new EQ700 model variants offer three new coffee specialties in the coffeeWorld: Cold Brew, Cold Brew Macchiato, and Slow Brew. Unlike classic coffee, Cold Brew uses cold water for preparation. Additionally, the extraction time—that is, the time the water spends in contact with the coffee—is much longer. The same applies to Slow Brew. This is prepared with hot water that has a long contact time with the ground coffee. This extended extraction time ensures that the aromatic compounds are perfectly extracted from the bean. The result is a full-bodied cup of Slow Brew coffee, whose texture is reminiscent of filter coffee.
Technological optimizations for the slow brewing process
To enable optimal preparation of Cold Brew and Slow Brew beverages, the components of the iAroma System have been redesigned. They are now capable of pumping water slowly and in intervals through the ground coffee. This process takes about 3.5 minutes and ensures that the coffee’s full aroma can unfold.
Coffee moments tailored to personal taste
The EQ700 can store up to 30 favorites. Parameters such as aroma, strength, temperature, and the milk-to-coffee ratio are adjusted according to preference, so that your personalized moment of enjoyment is always just a swipe away. With coffeeWorld, coffee specialties from around the world are also available at any time. In addition to the 11 classic beverages, coffeeWorld offers a selection of up to 24 specialties from ten different countries. Another highlight is aromaSelect, which offers three different aroma levels: mild, balanced, or bold. There’s something for every taste.
Coffee Preparation via App
Whether you enjoy it hot or cold—the Home Connect app provides even more flexibility when it comes to coffee: Want to stay in bed in the morning until the coffee is ready and its aroma beckons you to the breakfast table? No problem! Simply open the Home Connect app on your smartphone or tablet, enter your personal coffee preferences and timing, and the Siemens EQ700 takes care of the rest.
The new model variants of the Siemens EQ700 will be available starting in May 2024.
