Sigma launched the series of Innovation Club events in Budapest. On June 10th, the first Innovation Club dedicated to Usability took place, welcoming the Ambassador of Sweden to Hungary Niclas Trouvé and representatives of business.
During the summer of 2015 four students from Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg (Sweden) will participate in an academic exchange program with Stanford University (USA) and UC Berkeley (USA). The students will spend 10 weeks in San Francisco. Apart from training in the universities, they will be involved in conducting a market analysis for a tool developed by Sigma Technology.
In early June, fifth-grade students from Karl-Oskarskolan school in Växjö (Sweden) received a certificate for their achievements in the English-learning game – English Minnits. They have the highest ranked score in the game.

The Sweden-Ukraine Business Forum is going to take place on June 15-16th in Kyiv, Ukraine. This year the agenda includes the following topics: reforms implementation in Ukraine, social responsibility as a competitive advantage, Ukrainian IT export development and, in particular, effective e-government solutions.
On May 26-27th, the regular Tempus project meeting took place in Lviv. Representatives of Sigma Technology Solutions and Sigma Software, as well as professors from Linnaeus University (Sweden) and Lviv Polytechnic University (Ukraine), gathered to discuss the current status and share plans for the near future.
On May 15th Sigma Technology, Star for Life and Mmemezi High School celebrated the launch of a long-term partnership in the province of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The goal is to help South African scholars follow their dreams and get access to a better education.
Sigma Technology Solutions hosted two events within the TEMPUS project in Växjö, Sweden. On May 5th, the company and Linnaeus University organized the IT-Pub — an event dedicated to shining light on the Tempus NEFESIE project. The next day, the Entrepreneurship & Innovation Workshop for Ukrainian professors from five TEMPUS partner universities was held.
On May 13th, Sigma Technology took part in a seminar in Budapest dedicated to Smart Work & Life for the Next Generation. The event was held within the frameworks of the Swedish-Hungarian Smart Forum, and organized by the Embassy of Sweden, Business Sweden, the Ministry of Human Capacities, Budapest University of Technology and Economics, and leading Swedish companies in Hungary.
Back in 2014, Sigma Technology together with Sigma Software completed the development of the game English Minnits. The Product Owner is Universal Learning Games AB — a Swedish company, which specializes in developing, producing and marketing games intended for learning. In early March 2015, Minnits was presented in Indian schools.
