This summer, Fredrik Sträng made the Sigma K2 2017 expedition in the endeavor of climbing K2, the second highest and the most dangerous summit in the world. The expedition was interrupted after reaching 7,400 m due to the weather conditions. Fredrik Sträng is not giving up and plans another expedition to K2 in 2018. Last year Sigma Technology and Linnaeus University entered into a partnership that oversaw a free distance Master course for Sigma Technology employees in the EU. The first available course was Knowledge Sharing in Global Information Systems Teams. Eva Urbanovics, project manager and technical writer in our Hungarian office, was one of the first students within this partnership project.
