Accounts Payable Automation is generating interest in the Asian Dynamics NAV community

March 23-24 was a historical milestone for the Dynamics NAV community in Asia, with the very first Directions ASIA event held in Bangkok. Capital of Thailand and known for its sweltering temperatures and first class hotels, Bangkok embraced the challenge with the event held at the Hilton Millenium hotel.

SignUp Software was a proud sponsor for the event with Magnus Perri and Bill Jarman on site to connect with partners in Asia and to showcase ExFlow for Microsoft Dynamics NAV.

There was a lot of interest in ExFlow and the topic of AP Automation in more general terms has gained a boost of traction after the recent partnership between Microsoft and Kofax. This is due to Dynamics NAV 2016 and later versions now offering OCR functionality out of the box.

Interestingly, partners have quickly realized that the OCR role is simply an enabler of true AP automation, with the real value lying within the Workflow and Purchase Order matching capabilities. This captured high interest in ExFlow for Microsoft Dynamics NAV particularly and the SignUp team was hard at work discussing the product with existing and potential new partners.

After a successful event with many new connections made, SignUp Software looks forward to participating at Directions ASIA again next year.
