  • Greenhouse the path to success for up-and-coming designers

    It's time to apply to Greenhouse at Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair 2014. Greenhouse is the section where up-and-coming designers and design schools show off their prototypes to future partners, producers and customers. Several of the leading designers and design groups of our time have had their breakthrough thanks to their participation in Greenhouse.

  • Come and Eat, Meet and Enjoy at Formex

    The Formex interior design and gifts fair on 15-18 August is a chance for visitors to experience a blend of food, meetings and inspiration in the buffet zone and the exhibition Eat Meet Enjoy, inspired by this fall’s trend theme Eclectic Touch.

  • Work to remodel Stockholmsmässan’s entrance enters final phase

    It’s time again: Stockholmsmässan’s main entrance will be turning back into a busy building site for the next few months. This is the final phase of building work and on 14 August – just one day before the first exhibition of the fall opens – the gleaming new entrance area will be finished.

  • Eclectic Touch – diversity and mixture at Formex

    Mix and match: matte and shiny, vivid and neutral, conventional and original. The trend theme at the Formex interiors and design fair on 15-18 August 2013 is Eclectic Touch – affirmative and indulgent, with an intuitive feel.

  • Stockholm again chosen to host major diabetes conference

    The European Association for the Study of Diabetes, EASD, has chosen Stockholm as the site of its major conference in the autumn of 2015. The city will thus be hosting the event for the fourth time. The decision was motivated by Stockholm's good conditions and Stockholmsmässan's long experience in arranging international conferences.

  • Highlights from Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair 2013

    The 62nd Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair – the world’s largest meeting place for Scandinavian furniture and lighting design – took place on 5-9 February. 729 exhibitors from 31 countries came together under Stockholmsmässan’s roof to showcase innovations in furniture, lighting and textiles for homes and public spaces.

  • Hello! – Anatomy of Communication

    The final edition of Hello! gets under way on 5 February at Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair. Running for a three-year period and initiated by the Fair, the project has chosen communication as its theme this year. Architect Gert Wingårdh and Finnish illustrator Kustaa Saksi have joined creative forces to design the installation.

    Hello! - Anatomy of Communication is more than just an installation; it’s a forum for an in-depth and far-ranging discussion about design. The Show can be seen at Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair on 5-9 February 2013.

  • This spring’s Formex defies the recession

    Formex continues to cement its position as the leading event in Nordic interior design. The spring fair attracted 864 exhibitors, 887 media representatives and 23,903 visitors from 48 countries. The Formex team had picked the theme “Fresh” to inspire and spread happiness after a period of darkness, and this was very well received by exhibitors and visitors alike.
