A festival for anyone who loves design

4 February sees the opening of the Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair, the world’s biggest meeting place for Scandinavian furniture and light design, at Stockholmsmässan. On Saturday 8 February, members of the public with an interest in design are also welcome to see the latest developments in furniture and lighting.

“We know that there are lots of people here in Sweden with an interest in design. On Saturday they can come to the trade show and find out about the latest trends, listen to our presentation, meet the young designers of the year in Greenhouse and view new products from 700 companies before they’ve even reached the shops,” explains Cecilia Nyberg, Event Manager for the Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair.

Taking place in parallel with the Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair is Stockholm Design Week, with several events at various venues in the city, all with the aim of offering Stockholm residents and visitors exciting, groundbreaking design experiences and enhancing Stockholm’s role as the capital city of Scandinavia.

Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair will be held at Stockholmsmässan on 4-8 February 2014. The trade show is open to the general public on Saturday 8 February from 10:00-17:00. Direct sales are not permitted.
