Anna-Karin Werner new Director of Congresses and Guest Events at Stockholmsmässan 

Stockholmsmässan has recruited Anna-Karin Werner as Director of Congresses and Guest Events. She has been working in the hospitality and tourism industry for many years and comes most recently from Openology AB, a company of which she was co-founder and CEO. Prior to that, she worked for many years as Director of Marketing and Sales at the Sheraton Stockholm Hotel. Anna-Karin Werner will begin September 4. 

– Anna-Karin is exactly what Stockholmsmässan is looking for: an experienced change management leader with a strong sales focus, who has many years’ experiences of working with international sales within meetings and events. She also has extensive experience of marketing Stockholm and Sweden as a destination. We’re really looking forward to welcoming Anna-Karin to our team,” says Camilla Hållbro, CCO Stockholmsmässan. 

By recruiting Anna-Karin, Stockholmsmässan will get important new expertise to enhance efforts to attract international operators and Swedish organizers to its Älvsjö venue.

Stockholmsmässan is the Nordic region's largest venue for exhibitions, congresses and events. The Congresses and Guest Events Department is responsible for all external Swedish and international events that hire premises and purchase services from Stockholmsmässan.
