Formex Formidable 2012 Shortlist

The shortlist of products nominated for the Formex Formidable design award was announced today on the opening day of the Formex fair. Formex Formidable encourages and rewards interesting, qualitative and contemporary design. The shortlisted entries are on show at the fair and at www.formex.se, where the general public can vote for the “People's Choice”. The winners will be announced at Formex in January 2013.

All exhibitors at the spring and fall Formex 2012 are invited to submit entries for consideration by the Jury, which selects 20 products for the Formex Formidable shortlist. The winners of “Formex Formidable 2012” (selected by the Jury) and the “People’s Choice” (selected by the general public) will be announced at the Formex press briefing in January 2013.

The Jury is made up of Stefan Nilsson, trend expert from Trendgruppen, Dan Gordan, Editor of Sköna Hem, Kerstin Wickman, Professor at Konstfack and writer, designer Monica Förster, Monica Förster Design Studio, and Kajsa Falck-Torlegård, Formex.

The award consists of a marketing subsidy of 100,000 SEK, a stand at Formex, an advertisement in the Formex catalog and an advertisement in an interior design magazine.
