Industry meetings and awards during Train & Rail in Stockholm

As in 2023, the Nordic railway and tramway industry has found that Train & Rail is an excellent opportunity to hold meetings and present industry awards. Stockholmsmässan is the obvious meeting place for the industry.

The first edition of Train & Rail was a great success! The next fair takes place from 6 to 8 May. In 2023, 151 exhibitors and 3,037 visitors were counted. Bookings for this year's show are strong with many new exhibitors and Stockholmsmässan is looking forward to a new record.

Train & Rail is a trade show by the industry, for the industry. It was created by the Nordic industry's organisations, who for many years have been calling for a meeting place that takes a broad, holistic approach to railways and tramways.

Train & Rail brings together the entire breadth of the industry in one place - from manufacturers and contractors to decision-makers and, of course, the members of the industry organisations. This is also why the industry organisations have chosen to hold their meetings at Train & Rail. For example, Swedtrain and the Swedish Railway Contractors Association (FSJ) hold their annual meetings during Train & Rail, while the Swedish Tramway Cities have chosen to combine the entire Tramway Forum with Train & Rail at Stockholmsmässan on 5-6 May.

"The entire Nordic rail and tramway industry will be in one place for three days. This makes it easy to use the time efficiently and, for example, to hold annual general meetings and board meetings at the exhibition" says Monika Johannesen Widholm, project manager at Train & Rail.

Awards at the Gala Dinner
During the Train & Rail Exhibition Dinner, as last time, the industry organisations will take the opportunity to present awards. The awards ceremony will take place on one of the main stages during the pre-dinner mingle.

So how do you go about organising a meeting or awards ceremony during Train & Rail?

"I would encourage everyone to contact us to find out more or to book a space for meetings. We would like to see more people holding award ceremonies and are happy to provide space for them in connection with the dinner," says Monika Johannesen Widholm.
