Nordbygg ready for the return

Despite the pandemic, the planning of the Nordics’s largest industry fair for the construction sector, Nordbygg, is well under way. The interest from exhibitors is great and everyone is looking forward to once again being able to meet, talk about products, solutions, news and business.

In a little over a year, Nordbygg will be back after the extraordinary long interval of four years. On the 26th of April in 2022, the fair will open for four days of news, seminars and inspiration.
– We know that many of you have missed Nordbygg and are now looking forward to exhibiting and visiting the fair again, says Peter Söderberg. We are therefore extra happy to already now be able to promise content-packed days with many exciting and inspiring features.

Prefab in HVAC
The HVAC supplier LK Systems is a company which has already booked. Veli Komulainen, Regional Manager, appreciates Nordbygg for the opportunity to refine and enhance existing relationships and make new, recurring customers.
– At Nordbygg we find all the actors that are important to us. There is a mix of constructors and fitters and that suits us well, says Veli Komulainen.

LK Systems sees that the demand for prefabricated HVAC solutions is growing rapidly, 20 per cent each year, and therein also lies the focus of the company’s Nordbygg investment. Within this area, the company has several exciting news that will be presented.
– Traditionally, the fitter has been our most important decision-maker, since they choose the products. But in that prefabrication is growing, regulators and contractors are also becoming important target groups to us, says Veli Komulainen.

Focus on sustainability
To the window and door manufacturer NorDan, sustainability is at the heart of operations and has a clear strategy, which also encompasses digitalisation. To control what comes in and what leaves the company’s factories is a given, and so is using renewable energy. Therefore, the company’s ten manufacturing sites among other things invest in photovoltaic installations. With the sustainability issues so close to heart, these will probably make one of the company’s themes for the fair.

3D pioneers
One concrete area that they intend to highlight at Nordbygg is 3D printing.
– In our line of business we are pioneers within 3D printing and have received prestigious awards for our 3D printed windows and doors made of biocomposite. This journey will continue, says NorDan’s Head of Marketing, Andréas Dahl.

He thinks that Nordbygg is a long-awaited arena and important with its good mix of visitors.
– You go from talking to craftsmen to discussions with the cutting-edge architectural firms. It is great fun to see that Nordbygg has developed and become increasingly professional, says Andréas Dahl.
