About 700 exhibitors will be taking part in this year’s Stockholm Furniture Fair and Northern Light Fair, including 300 companies from outside Sweden and about 100 Northern Light Fair exhibitors.

Please register no later than 27 January at press@stockholmsmassan.se or register here The Press Center opens  at 08:00 on Tuesday 4 February. 

The Fair is only open to industry visitors on 4 -7 February. The general public is also welcome on Saturday 8 February.

2014 Highlights 

The 2014 Guest of Honor is GamFratesi – functional Danish arts and crafts tradition meets Italian conceptualism. EH:02

Twelve – Established Nordic Designers 12 designers share one space to showcase perfect examples of their style and design philosophy. A42:20

Restaurant Fager & Myllymäki. The Design Bar morphs into a top-class restaurant created by Designer Jens Fager and Chef Tommy Myllymäki. AG:96 

Material attraction – Scandinavia likes Japan. The exhibition is a co-production between the Materials Library and Japanese Designer Naoto Nakamura. B12:11

Furniture & Lighting trends 14/15 consists of two trend exhibitions masterminded by Designer Jan Rundgren. One exhibition has a furniture focus, C12:35, and the other a lighting focus, B12:21. 

Stockholm Design Talks on the Moving Forward theme: on-trend topics, thrilling panel discussions and inspiration. The entire program is available at www.stockholmfurniturefair.com 

Guest exhibitions: Including 12TREE, created by Staffan Bengtsson, Designboom Mart and ROJO show – a selection of contemporary Spanish design.

Award ceremonies: +1- Best in Show, The Green Furniture Award and others.

Opening times: Tuesday - Friday 9:00 – 18:00, Saturday 10:00 – 17:00. On Saturday 8 February the fair is also open to the general public. 

The Official Guide to Stockholm Design Week is also available as a website: www.stockholmdesignweek.com. It contains up-to-the-minute information about all the events taking place in showrooms and shops in Stockholm throughout Week 6.
