Sensual, sinuous, beautiful, and functional, wins this year's "Best in Show" at Formex Design Talents

We are happy to announce the winner of "Best in Show" at Formex Design Talents. The winner is Plantstraws with the founder Elin Fyhr. Plantstraws has with creatively, sensually, and playfully crafts sculptural design solutions for plant irrigation. Design Talents is the section dedicated to emerging Swedish and international designers, providing them with the opportunity to showcase their products at Formex. The award has been presented four times.

Designer and plant lover Elin Fyhr creates stylish, fun, and practical sculptural solutions for watering potted plants, both for outdoor and indoor use. A wick runs through a tube, drawing water from a reservoir to the soil in the pot. It works particularly well for plants that prefer moist soil, such as ferns, asparagus ferns, or umbrella sedge. The tube can also be used as a trellis for climbing plants. The arches are made of metal and recycled cotton, available in black and brass, as well as temporary color collections like Klein blue, beige, and brown. Plantstraws is a design studio located in Stockholm with production in Småland.
