Press release -

Stockholm Design Week Pop-Up September 5–9

The official Stockholm Design Week returns with a pop-up September edition this autumn. The design week is open to everyone and offers a platform to network, launch news and discuss ideas together. Among the already signed in participants are brands such as Swedese, Ogeborg, and Astrid as well as designers and studios like Nick Ross, Gustaf Westman, and Axel Wannberg.

With furniture brands, design studios, shops and museums ready to open their doors on September 5, the pop-up Stockholm Design Week will be a buzzing event that engages the whole city. There will be a program with talks, exhibitions, open studios and showrooms, and the app will offer a full schedule of the events taking place in different districts.

During the five days’ gathering, visitors can expect several soft launches of new products ahead of Stockholm Furniture Fair in February 2024, as well as a pre-launch of selected new content for Stockholm Furniture Fair in February 2024. NK will host an exhibition in the courtyard and several designers and design studios will showcase new work.

The autumn design week offers an opportunity to network , listen to talks and experience news in a different setting than when the fair is in the focus. We see it as a dynamic way to gather the industry and share knowledge, says Hanna Nova Beatrice, director of Stockholm Design Week and Stockholm Furniture Fair.

The first Stockholm Design Week was held in February 2002, and since then the organiser Stockholm Furniture Fair has tied together all the different design activities taking place in Stockholm. The Stockholm Design Week interactive app lists all the participating companies, along with the exhibitions, showrooms and events taking place across the city. The app provides visitors with a clear overview and enable all the companies to reach their target group.
