Studio Madelen Möllard Wins Formex Design Talents "Best in Show"

Formex Design Talents is the platform for emerging Swedish and international designers who can exhibit and showcase their products to buyers, producers, and the media. One of the designers is selected as the winner of "Best in Show," and today it was announced that award goes to Studio Madelen Möllard.

Madelen Möllard is a Swedish artist, designer, and illustrator. Her art is vibrant and created with bold shapes. Madelen has long wanted to translate her art into three-dimensional objects, and in the fall of 2023, she launched Studio Madelen Möllard, a home decor brand with designs inspired by her paintings. The studio aims to share optimism and playfulness, encouraging an eclectic and colorful world of design, art, and interior decor. The quality of the products and the environment is crucial throughout the process, and all products are manufactured in Sweden, close to Madelen's studios in Stockholm and her hometown, Karlshamn.

-It's an incredible feeling to finally share the experience of my design with others. I hope that my work can inspire people to fully express their passion for interior design. It's a great honor receiving the 'Best in Show' award here at Formex, says Madelen Möllard.

Formex Design Talents' "Best in Show" was awarded for the fifth time on Tuesday, and Madelen Möllard received the prize with the following motivation.

Drawing inspiration from the summer beauty of nature, she has woven together outdoor and indoor elements into a three-dimensional experience, creating objects we want to enjoy throughout the year. Her keen eye for design has resulted in practical products with soft values that evoke blossoming feelings. We look forward to witnessing this designer's continued successes and artistic contributions in the future.
