Press release -

Swedish design elite at Formex

Formex, September 1-4, will see the Swedish premiere of “17 Swedish designers – chez Pascale), an exhibition featuring the female design elite of Sweden, including Monica Förster and Lena Bergström. The exhibition is part of Formex’s investment in Nordic design.

With the exhibition “17 Swedish designers – chez Pascale”, gallery owner, designer-producer and curator Pascale Cottard-Olsson is showcasing a number of innovative objects from 17 successful Swedish female designers. The exhibition, based on a book of the same name, is being shown in Sweden for the first time. It has previously been shown in Europe and is currently touring the USA in cooperation with Svensk Form. At Formex, a whole host of new products not previously featured will be on display. The designers themselves will also be attending the exhibition. The curator of the exhibition is Sara Szyber. Nordic Area: B11:11

“Sweden has so many skilled, fashionable and exciting female designers who are reflecting on our time. We must take pride in this,” says Pascale.
