The Boat Show Allt för Sjön 2025 – An Inspiring Season Kickoff in Stockholm with a Vision for the Future
The 88th edition of the boat show Allt för Sjön has recently concluded at Stockholmsmässan. Over the course of two long weekends, spanning a total of eight days, thousands of visitors gathered to celebrate the joy of life on the water. With a new inclusive concept and a broader audience, the exhibition strengthens its position as the leading meeting place in the Nordics for everyone who loves water and boating.
"We are incredibly proud of this year’s event. Seeing the enthusiasm from exhibitors and industry professionals confirms that Allt för Sjön is an essential part of the boating season’s kickoff," says Katarina Hamnholm, Acting Project Manager for Allt för Sjön.
This year’s exhibition focused on three strong themes: A Smarter Future – with sustainability and innovation at the center, A New Female Perspective on Boating, and Sailing – Passion and Innovation for All Levels.
A total of 300 boats were on display, including 12 Swedish premieres and 3 world premieres. Just hours after opening, several boats had already been marked as "sold." For those seeking inspiration, the event featured over 90 presentations, the Classic Boat Show exhibition, the legendary racing yacht Ester with its unique history, and an engaging dinghy area designed to inspire the next generation of sailors. The exhibition also included a special area called "Allt för Östersjön" (All for the Baltic Sea), showcasing various initiatives for the preservation of the Baltic Sea. In connection with this, a Baltic Sea seminar was held, attended by H.R.H. Crown Princess Victoria. Additionally, nearly 260 women earned their boat operator licenses during the Allt för Sjön.
Allt för Sjön is Here to Stay
At a time when the boating industry faces challenges, Allt för Sjön demonstrates a strong belief in the exhibition format as an invaluable platform for connecting with customers, industry colleagues, and boating enthusiasts. The event is already setting its course for the future.
"We see a strong demand for inspiration, innovation, and community within the boating world. What we have built in 2025 forms a foundation we will continue to develop. We will always stay true to our core themes – boats, inspiration, and a smarter future – even as the specific topics may shift from year to year. We want to provide space for more activities and a broader range of content to meet the needs of both the industry and visitors while continuing to strengthen the exhibition’s role as the leading meeting place in the Nordics for all who love life on the water," says Katarina Hamnholm.
Allt för Sjön 2026 will take place at Stockholmsmässan in Älvsjö from March 5–8 and March 12–15.
