Press release -

Twelve – new design area at Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair

At the next fair, which will be held February 4-8, 2014, Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair is starting a new section - Twelve - for established Nordic designers.Twelve designers will share one space where they will display their products and typical examples of their style and personal philosophy.

“Many people have expressed a desire for a platform at Stockholm Furniture & LightFair where established designers can meet the industry and set up new collaborations. That is why we are now starting Twelve. We also think that the new department will further enhance the experience of the fair by gathering established designers with a very high level of design under the same roof,” says Cecilia Nyberg, Event Manager of Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair.

Johanna Agerman Ross, Editor-in-Chief of Disegno Magazine, is the curator for 2014. According to her, it has been a tough process since all of the designers who applied were very skilled. The area displays a variety of design, with everything from product and furniture design to textiles. Twelve’s space is designed by TAF Arkitekter, which is also one of the twelve exhibitors.

Participants 2014:
