  • A week packed with design

    Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair, the world's largest meeting place for Scandinavian furniture and lighting design, kicks off on February 3-7. Visitors from all over the world will come to Stockholmsmässan to see the latest trends in furniture and lighting. Stockholm Design Week is held in parallel with around 60 design events arranged throughout the city.

  • Spring Sensations at Formex

    Stockholmsmässan’s exhibition halls were positively effervescent with spring sensations when Formex, the Nordic region’s largest meeting place for interior design, got underway last week on 14-17 January. Over a four-day period, the interiors and gift industry gathered to make spring purchases, meet and take a look at the latest trends.

  • The Accent thermos by Sagaform is the winner of the design award Formex Formidable 2014

    Formex Formidable is an annual design award to encourage and reward interesting, qualitative and contemporary design. The winner of the juried Formex Formidable 2014 is the Accent thermos from Sagaform, designed by Gustav Hallén. The honorary award, People's Choice, goes to Åkerlapp a collection of linen in cooperation between Växbo Lin and Note Design Studio.

  • Question time with design icon Ilse Crawford

    Design is most powerful when it answers our questions about everything new happening in the world. And to get answers we need to ask questions. With the exhibition at the Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair, February 3-7, this year´s Guest of Honour Ilse Crawford wants to engage visitors with a series of questions.

  • Highlights at This Spring’s Formex

    ​Wednesday 14 January sees the start of Formex, the Nordic region’s largest trade fair for interior design and gifts. The entire industry converges on Stockholmsmässan to make spring purchases and take a look at the latest trends at the fair, which lasts for four days and features 829 exhibitors.

  • Experimental methods in focus in design zone ‘Twelve’

    ​The second-ever ‘Twelve’, Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair’s exhibition zone for twelve established Nordic designers, will be held on 3-7 February 2015. The theme of the exhibition this time is ‘Methods’ and the participating designers represent different design methods, from performance to digital presentation and crowdfunding.

  • Trend Talks and Stockholm’s Best Semla at Formex

    ​Visitors to Formex on 14-17 January 2015 can enjoy the smorgasbord of knowledge and inspiration on offer. Treats include several food-for-thought talks about everything from cookery and meal trends to economics. The choosing of Stockholm’s best semla and celebration of Tulip Day’s 25th anniversary are among other fair highlights.

  • Eco-smart materials at Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair

    At Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair, 3-7 February 2015, the Materials & CSR installation will be showcasing different materials and manufacturing methods, with special emphasis on the eco-smart arguments for the featured exhibits.The Materials & CSR installation is produced by Materialbiblioteket [The Materials Library].

  • Nordic food and design meet at Formex

    Nordic food and design have been a big hit abroad in recent years. At Formex, on January 14-17, 2015, visitors will be presented with a superb all-around experience at Nordic Eat, a temporary pop-up restaurant where food and design are intertwined through Nordic Neat, the spring trend theme.

  • Emerging design stars in Greenhouse

    To Greenhouse, designers and design colleges from all over the world are welcome to apply to participate. The Jury has now selected the exhibitors in Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair’s hall for young and up-and-coming designers in 2015. They include Frej Wichmann, M-S-D-S Studio, Malin Bobeck and Pettersen & Hein. 33 designers or design teams and 30 design colleges will be taking part in all.

  • The next generation events for the global pulp, paper and biobased industries

    ​Adforum, the world leading organizer of trade fairs for the pulp and paper industry and Mentor Communications AB, the leading media company in Sweden, are together launching two new events for the pulp, paper and biobased industries: International Pulp & Paper Week and Bioeconomy Innovation Forum. The events will be held at Stockholmsmässan May 24-26th 2016.
