Fortum and Phoenix Contact are completely new exhibitors at Nordbygg, and both have a digital focus. Fortum introduces SmartLiving, a proprietary platform for the smart home. The goal of Phoenix is to position itself on the market for property automation.
The assignment to create the Design Bar at Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair on February 6 10, 2018 has gone to the designer Luca Nichetto. This time, the menu is being created in collaboration with Lina Ahlin, chef at the restaurant Agrikultur in Stockholm.

Being citizen of the world and something of an anthropologist, Paola Navone – Italian architect, product designer, interior designer and artistic director – has been commissioned to create an installation for the Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair.

Qian Jiang has been named the winner of Formex Nova, which goes to a young designer in the Nordic region. The winner is named by an expert jury and receives in part a sponsored activity at a value of SEK 50,000.

The nominees for the Formex Nova Design Award – 2017 Nordic Designer of the Year, which will be awarded on August 23, have now been announced. The award was established by the Formex interior design fair seven years ago to promote high-quality Nordic design. Last weekend, Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair closed its doors on this year's event. The number of foreign visitors increased by more than 6.5% to almost 10,700 and represented a record-setting 80 countries.
