Storebrand Asset Management honored with award as best asset manager in Denmark

The independent research institute Morningstar on Friday awarded Storebrand Asset Management the main award as Best Asset Manager in Denmark at the Morningstar Awards for Investing Excellence 2024.

The main award is given to the asset manager who can showcase a number of funds with strong risk-adjusted performance. The award, which takes place in several European countries, also aims to select asset managers that take investors' interests into account in their funds, including ensuring a common interest between manager and investors, charging reasonable fees and treating investors' money as if it were their own.

Storebrand Asset Management has been active in Denmark for several years, among other things through the acquisition of the Skagen Funds in 2017 and the property manager Capital Investment in 2021, which is part of the asset manager's 'multi boutique' concept. A special guiding principle for Storebrand Asset Management is sustainable investments, which the company has worked actively and systematically with since 1995.
