New additions to gift range in time for spring celebrations

Svenskt Tenn has assigned the designer duo Nina Jobs and Stina Sandwall to create a set of pewter objects which make for suitable gifts, ideal for the upcoming spring and summer events. The resulting ”Silhuett” series includes a jug, a candle holder and a box, made of pewter with brass details.

This is the first collaboration between the duo of Nina Jobs and Stina Sandwall and Svenskt Tenn. One of their previous works is the award-winning Brunnsviken sofa created for SMD Design.

The designers were inspired by oak leaves, with their characteristic rounded shape which is a recurring feature of Svensk Tenn’s range and designs by founder Estrid Ericson. The objects have details which resemble the silhouette of an oak leaf, hence the name of the series.

”The three pieces are available separately, while also comprising a beautiful collection as a set,” says Nina Jobs. “The materials will age beautifully, making the objects ideal gifts for occasions such as a wedding or a christening.

The ”Silhuett” series is available both online as part of Svenskt Tenn’s gift range and in the store at Strandvägen 5 in Stockholm.
