Swedavia considers issue of SEK denominated hybrid bonds and green bonds

Swedavia has appointed financial advisors to investigate market conditions for issuing of hybrid bonds and of green bonds under the recently launched Swedavia Green Bond Framework.

An investor meeting will be held 15 November, 2019, jointly for the two transactions. Nordea and SEB are Joint Lead Managers for the hybrid bond loan, while SEB and Swedbank are Joint Lead Managers for the green bond loan.

A SEK-denominated subordinated benchmark perpetual non-call 5 year hybrid bond transaction may follow as well as a SEK denominated benchmark 5-7 year green bond transaction, both subject to market conditions.

Four new routes launched at Göteborg Landvetter

International air traffic at Göteborg Landvetter Airport continues to grow. In the past few days, four new European direct routes were launched. Along with the new services, another four new direct routes were announced in the past month. In September, 521,000 international passengers flew to or from Göteborg Landvetter, which is a 3 per cent increase compared to last year.

Swedavia’s interim report January-September 2019: Improved results and a more efficient Swedavia

From January to September, nearly 31 million passengers flew to or from Swedavia’s airports. Net revenue increased during the period to nearly 4.7 billion Swedish kronor, and operating profit increased to more than 720 million kronor.

Swedavia launches Green Bond Framework

Swedavia is launching a framework that for the first time enables the company to issue green bonds. The aim is to finance investments and projects in climate change adaptation and sustainability. The framework has been subject to an independent external assessment by the Center for International Climate and Environmental Research (CICERO).

Swedavia’s traffic statistics for October 2019

In October, 3,531,000 passengers flew via Swedavia’s ten airports, which is a decrease of almost 5 per cent compared to the same month last year. This month, a continued weaker trend for domestic travel was noted, while international traffic decreased to a lesser extent and scheduled European traffic was basically unchanged compared to October last year.

New direct route with Norwegian to Gdansk from Göteborg Landvetter

Norwegian is expanding international traffic at Göteborg Landvetter Airport, launching non-stop service to Gdansk, Poland. With the addition of this new route, the carrier will now offer service from Gothenburg to 16 international destinations.

Three new direct routes from Stockholm Arlanda with Norwegian

Norwegian is expanding at Stockholm Arlanda Airport and will launch three new direct routes to eastern European countries during the spring of 2020. The new destinations are Palanga (Lithuania), Gdansk (Poland) and Tivat (Montenegro).
